Living in a culture where media has prescribed it’s own identity on individuals, where self-esteem and virtue have been chiseled away and individuality has been obfuscated, we are empowered to reject this false ID imposed by media.
We cross out the false identity imposed on us and choose to tell our own story.
This is who we are.

The Pink Lid 2014 will be the 20th conference put on since 2006. Founded by Alyssa Shull, now The Pink Lid is held annually in Miami, FL. Every conference has two main purposes. The first is to instill ‘True Beauty’ in the hearts of every girl attending. The second is to share the purpose of purity and the ‘why’ behind the ‘wait’.
Reject What You Know asks the question “What if everything you knew about yourself was a lie?” Since much of what you learn and adopt as belief has been prescribed by media, we ask you this to question the source of your knowledge and in doing so, reflect on your core values.
It’s been said that the eyes are windows to the soul. A person’s eyes express their joy and brokenness, their past, regrets, failures and hopes. Eyes hold ties to an individual’s identity— often a person’s eyes are covered or disguised as a means of hiding their identity, concealing their inner self to the outside world.

Everything on Saturday leads up to our HUGE AFTER PARTY with Rhema Soul. We start with a morning session learning about your significance in this world and performances from our Pink Lid Dance Team. Then the day tumbles forward with breakout sessions where you choose from topics you want hear about! Then hear from all the speakers in the OPEN PANEL where your risqué questions find biblical answers. After your dinner break hear from Heather Lindsey former MTV host. You will discover that your heart is made to be discovered not broken!
